DDX170 Journal- Week two

This week I couldn't make it to class so I just hoped online to the google site and followed what was on the weekly schedule.

Being a beginner at Illustrator and never touching anything it all, I watched the video tutorial " Learn illustrator in 5 minutes" and decided to create a simple image to play around with the tools mentioned in the video.

Simple & quick design based on the tutorial- the tools found easiest to use was the pen tool and eclipse tool- I tired to use a range of different tools but the others i found difficult to use to get the shapes I wanted for the flower.

After playing around with illustrator I moved on to some research on the arts & craft movement. I created a Research journal so it would be easier for me to look back and take notes on what I thought was important.

I also did some research on the Arts and craft movement and created a research journal to keep track on things i've learnt and read about.

Finally, I found some images from William Morris to place into my 10 page research presentation.
