DDX170 Journal- Week 10 & 11

This week I had watch a few video tutorials to help me with creating the rough in illustrator.

Working on project 3;

I also continued working on project 3 and started on working on the drafts in illustrator.

This version of the logo was to play around with the things that I had learnt from the first video as well as staying true to my thumbnail sketches, Something that I liked most about this one was the half circle. Some cool feedback was that the clouds were sharp and felt more like fire surrounding the circle rather then clouds which to me, meant it wasn't working with the name cloud hopper. I deiced to make the clouds closer towards the look from the cloud tutorial I had looked at and it created the feel I was going for, something that felt soft and humble.
