DDX170 Journal- Week one

For the first week of Design principles, I had fallen behind a bit with work with only working on the 10 rough thumbnail sketches and setting up Milestone 2 .

Before I began to draw I had come up with a list of organic shapes and found life images/ illustrations on pinterest based off the list i made.

Some ideas;

Lilly pads, -pound themed

Sunflowers, leafs

Lemon

Feather

Tree

shells

While working on the first sketches I got a little carried away with making it look more towards a final then just a sketch, I Realised half way that i should just be doing rough sketches to get more designs out rather then spending so much time on one possible final.

Something that i wish i did for the sketches was to go outside and pick up a flower rather then relying on google images for textures and details.
