This was the final week working on E&CU. I had a few feelings towards this project which ranged from being passionate to feeling over it. In the end all the feelings of not wanting to continue, being lazy and somewhat stressed out was all worth it. This is a project that i am definitely proud of. I learnt some new animation skills with doing a full walk cycle for animals and a 2 legged character which was something I hadn't worked on/finished before. There were some animations that I struggled with but i had kept going and eventually found the right timing and positions of the frames. I also learnt a bit more at keeping an art style consistent and keeping the quality of things the same. My most favourite things about E&CU is the chickens, flower animations and the interactions you can have with nan.

The second trimester of working on E&CU was a lot better for me in terms on keeping on track with tasks and making sure I kept communication. there were times when my communication lacked a little but I tired to keep that as consistent as possible. I wanted to make sure I didn't redo all the issues with the first trimester, where i had struggled with those 2 things making it more stressful for the team. Some weeks I found it hard to keep a constant working schedule as half way through the trimester I had applied for a new job which had a lot of paper work on top of that I was still working at my old job as well completing another class, so with my personal life going through a change I found it extremely difficult to complete paperwork, work and study while also trying to take a break, so for those weeks were a bit much. Once all of that changed with jobs uni work became a little easier to manage and i was able to catch up on some work.

Not a lot of things went wrong besides the occasional bugs or myself having small problems with how smart git worked. I had problems with changes in the game occasionally it would delete itself and i would have to reload previous versions which would delete the task i was currently working on. This was an recurring problem which i did learn to avoid and fix quickly. (Luckily when it happened it was never big changes). The 2nd recurring problem i had was the ground tilemap would turn pink, sometimes i would just be able to exit and not save m work and it would fix it, other times i waited until someone pushed their work so i could reload it (which i did often) and the last time it happened I didn't have/couldn't find any solutions.

With this project officially over, my final thoughts are i'm glad its over. Im happy that i can relax and not worry about animating trees anymore. I am proud to have been apart of a great game that i think will always have the potential to be a bigger game then it currently is. On my side of things, I learnt a lot more about animating and I think this project is a great portfolio piece.
